The west wing of a 200-year-old, stone-built, slate-roofed steading in the traditional Perthshire style, the Factor's House is set in green pastures nestling between the Highland hills and the south shore of Loch Rannoch. The house, beautifully restored to provide comfortable and friendly accommodation for four to five people, is furnished with a mixture of antiques and family things, and is often used by the owners themselves.

The front door opens into this spectacular galleried, open-plan sitting room. Over the fireplace the large overmantel looking-glass reflects the upper gallery, giving an air of gracious spaciousness to this unusual and delightful room. The Liberty sofa unfolds to make a comfortable double bed. There is another sofa and a dining table.
A small foyer leads from the sitting area to the cozy principal double bedroom with ample hanging and shelf space. There is a bathroom with an overhead shower above the bath and a shaver socket.

Upper Floor
A decorative cast-iron spiral stair, modelled on a Victorian stair and specially commissioned for the Factor's House, leads into the upper sitting-room gallery overlooking the sitting-room below. There's a drop-end sofa, an armchair and a writing-table with chair.
Off the sitting-room is a very cozy and charming twin bedroom under the eaves with ample hanging and shelf space.
